asktheexterminator.com This Bed Bugs Mattress video is perfect for you if you think you have bed bugs bitting you at night. The video explains an easy way to set up a monitoring trap. After one day you will know for certain if you have a bed bug infestation.

Although bed bugs prefer the warmer wood surfaces, they still can be found on metal frame beds. They take blood meals. They do not eat wood.
If i have a metal frame bed can i still get bed bugs? What do they feed on? The wood or human blood?!
The tape need only be in place for a couple of days. It is not supposed to remain in place long enough to collect dust and hair. Bed bugs feed every three days, or so. If your bed has bed bugs this tape monitor should show indications quickly.
Great idea. But you will have to change the tape regularly because a layer of house dust will make the tape not sticky enough to trap them, also hair, lint and other dead bugs can make a bridge for them to get across.
thats a great ideal!! thanks
The best idea ever! And if there are any bugs in the bed base, line the sides of it all around with double sided sticky tape. As a final line of defence put tape all across the sides of the mattress and don’t use a bed sheet for a few days until the bed bugs are caught. Use a blanket sparingly as you don’t want it touching the sticky tape and wearing out it’s stickiness. They will eventually starve the bed bugs for want of blood.
thanks.
