I remember playing a demo of this game and you were controlling a red robotic beetle or bug of some kind. I remember you had to go around a small city (in the demo) and at the end you had to kill a boss. Then the demo ended.

Are you sure it wasn’t L.A.P.D Future Cop? I can’t remember a robotic beetle but it’s a robotic cop and you fight bosses :’) Hope I helped.

Only bug robot game I know is Hive and I don’t think it is that. So I think you mean Future Cop L.A.P.D. It’s a great game I still play bug hunt mode with my dad.
Sounds a bit like the Ghost In The Shell demo.
