Dead carpet beetles help?
I guess I hadn’t moved my furniture around in my bedroom and I found loads of carpet beetles. They are circular in shape, black with some white markings and were unmoving. So my question is whether they are really dead (therefore my landlord is following through with monthly pest control) or are they in some sort of life stage that makes them appear dead before transforming in a worse pest to deal with.
So are the ones i’m founding dead because of pest control or do adults rapidly die? I need to figure out if I need extra fumigation than what i’ve been getting. I am a graduate student living in a one bed apt in Florida and have no idea if I have a problem or its just typical this time of year.

the adult stage (beetle stage) is their last stage of life
