SCROLL DOWN FOR THE ANSWER o_o ANSWER At first glance this cute and busy little critter looks like a baby hummingbird. Look at how he moves! But after further investigation I discovered this bird is a bug impostor! See the antennae and proboscis? He (or she) is a Hummingbird Clearwing Moth (Hemaris Thysbe). Yup, a diurnal moth. My love bird Bug, who is now in birdie heaven, used to walk around on the floor and sleep in my bed. I think he longed to be a human. He was so smart that he would sleep in my bed but come out to use the bathroom. I never potty trained him. He just learned it on his own.

My love bird Bug, who is now in birdie heaven, was so smart and spoiled. He could easily go under the door and did quite often. I think on this day he just wanted to make me get up out of bed to let him in. His wings were not trimmed so he flew around as he pleased but also loved to follow me around while walking on the floor.
