What does this dream mean? And why am I always an animal?
Well, you see, since I turned like 6, I have been experiencing funky animal dreams. I’ve read all over the net about seeing other animals in your dream, but I can’t. I’m always the animal. I have been through various forms, including these:
Rabbit
Kangaroo
Wallaby
Owl
Squirrel
Rat
Mouse
Cheetah (common)
Cat
Dragon
Bat
Leopard (common)
Wolf (also common)
And probably some more.
Occasionally I see through the animal’s perspective, such as it’s senses like hearing, sight, scent etc. and I’ve noticed how weak and vulnerable humans are…and their drive for survival is completely different, and a little cowardly.
I am against animal abuse and I personally hate being human – sometimes I wish I wasn’t meant to be born one.
Ok, so here’s the dream:
Somehow I had made it underground, and a group of people were walking me through this airtight cave. I started to freak out with the closed walls that I asked to leave this place, but they didn’t reply. Instead however, they started shrieking and making sounds that sounded like speech, but it was loud and hurt my ears. I couldn’t understand what they were saying but I knew they were scared. I wanted to ask ‘what is it?’ but my question was somehow converted into a use of grunts, growls and clicking, ear flicks and other facial movements. It sounded kinda right to me, but however the people stood in horror. One of them dropped their torches, but it made no difference. I could see perfectly well in the dim light. They looked around, confused, and they started to smell kinda…sour..it’s hard to explain, but they almost ‘smelled’ scared.
Yowling, I ran away from them, trying to awake from this nightmare, but I felt glued or stuck there. Normally I can control or alter my dreams, even force myself to wake up, but nothing was working. So I finally made it outside, and I saw my reflection in a small pool near the mouth of the cave. I was a cheetah – again. It was broad daylight outside and the whole setting changed of the dream. Suddenly loud noises and strong scents stained the air and my eyes started to water. I saw humans driving what turned out to be vehicles, and a lot of them shrieked at me like the ones in the cave. A net was thrown over me, to attempt to capture me but I broke free by wildly slashing at the netting with my claws.
A sharp pain stung my shoulder, like an insect or spider had bitten in. I felt tired and groggy, then I awoke.
What the hell did that mean??!?!?!?

It’s easy to figure out that you seem to have a special attachment to animals, possibly caused by your being against animal abuse. If you hate being human, then your subconscious might possibly try to adopt a different form. Because you seem to have a connection with animals, your subconscious tries to take the form of an animal in your dreams.
In the dream, a group of poachers have taken you into their cave, possibly to kill you and skin you. When you escape, more return and toss a net over you. The poachers are probably caused by the fact that, not only do you seem to have a special love for animals, you hate animal abuse. That is the situation that some cheetahs do face in Asia.
