What is the most effective bat house design?
I want to build a bat house but am curious to the most effective or most beneficial design. I am leaning toward building the “rocket” design but wonder if there are any bat enthusiasts out there that think a different design is better. I have seen the traditional wide and flat type and have even recently seen a “bat can.” I was going to use untreated cedar fence wood from Home Depot.
the traditional flat design works but don’t be afraid to be creative. As long as the bats can get in and out of their house and be safe from elements and predators, it’s doing its job. :}
