My horse has a real problem with flies, so much so that he bleeds ever day on his legs, and fly spray does NOT seem to help! So my trainer said to wrap his legs, but I dont know how. Does anyone know what to use (cheap) and how to do it? Thanks a bunch!

Im not going to tell you how to wrap your horses legs thats something for your trainer to teach/show you because if you dont do it right you cant cause your horse to go lame but they sell boots made to keep flies off i have used them with no problem they look like this but you can get them at any online tack store pretty much
but heres some websites that will help you learn how to wrap his legs i just dont feel comfortable telling you sorry
hope these help you good luck with keeping the flies on your horse
The person above has the right idea I just wanted to pitch in my two bits. Have you ever tried switching the brand of fly spray you have? Ticks and fly’s can become immune to one brand after a while and swapping every month or so can really make a difference.
id say just do leg wraps. you start take a wrap and circle twice around the area right bellow the knee then wrap don and back up the leg
I agree that you need to be SHOWN how to bandage a horse’s legs, and supervised as it is a highly dangerous operation when done wrongly! I worked in a show jumping yard with some 200 horses and there was only two of us allowed to bandage horse’s legs! And then we had to check each other’s bandages! Do it wrongly (or get the bandages wet, ie in the dew) and you risk damaging a horse’s legs irreparably! If the tension is too tight or there is even the tiniest lump it will cut the blood supply to the legs and risk tendon damage.
Get the instructor or stable manager to show you how and supervise you.
i am pretty sure they are like shipping boots but I would ask someone that uses them Here are some cheap ones
