I Have An Indoor Fruit Plant With Tiny White Bugs, Does Anyone Know What It Could Be?

I have an indoor fruit plant, under a plant light and i have begun to see very tiny white bugs. Any ideas on what it could be?

It could be one of two bugs…
1-Mealy bug. To get rid of them, use a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and dab it on them. This will dry them up and you can just scrape them off.
2-Whitefly. Management of whiteflies is difficult. Maintain and monitor yellow sticky traps to detect invasions early. Whitefly is immune to chemical applications, so what I’ve done when I had them on my Hibiscus, was to strip all of the leaves off, put the whole plant in the bathtub and spray with a mister (hot, hot water and a few drops of Ivory liquid)…Leach the soil and let it run out the bottom. This is very important because you get rid of any eggs or larvae in the soil.
Let it dry out after. Don’t fertilize until second watering or it will burn the roots of your plant.
Hope this helps.
Either white flies or aphids. Treat immediately.
u can buy @ home depot or lowes a spray that will take care of this
“fungus knats” u can use any bug spray to kill em!
Do they fly around when disturbed? If yes, then you have white fly problems. If they don’t fly, then they may be aphids. Both can be treated by using a houseplant spray – but I would recommend taking the plant outside and hosing it off with water instead.
