I am going to bug bomb my basement, my pilot light is not in the basement, do i still need to turn it off?

I am going to bug bomb my basement, my pilot light is not in the basement, do i still need to turn it off? also our basement has no ventilation from the house itself besides the door down. will i need to turn off the fridge and is it best to take out any food that is open?

    Its best to take any precautions you can

    dont take any chances , gasses are heavy and they travel at a low level, when the area is filled itwll start to move to the next level. There have been houses that have exploded like a bomb due to those things, be careful.
