Im Moving To A Huge House With My Cat.?

I’m moving to a huge house with my cat from a tiny apartment and I’m scared my cats going to get lost in her new surroundings and I will not be able to find her because its 4 times bigger then our apartment. Also how do i keep her from going in my basement I’m scared shell get hurt from the big machines or get bugs in her fur! to me its a horrible nightmare! I love her so much and i don’t want her getting hurt!!
Start out by allowing her access to only a room or two. As she becomes more comfortable, allow larger areas for her to explore. Let her do this at her own pace. Don’t carry her to different rooms, let her walk there. Keep the door closed to the basement. If there isn’t a door, have one put in.
Your cat is going to be fine! I live in a 3 bedroom townhouse and my cats go in the basement. They have lots of room and they love it. You can’t lose her in the house. I’m sure she’s going to love it! My cats have never been injured in the house. Just don’t let her go outside. Too many dangers. Then, you could lose her!
