I got my lovely hatchling (her yolk sack had just fallen off) Peewee a couple days ago. I am so in love with this little critter, but I’m confused. Everyone else has told me that they eat almost exclusively meat at that age but they lady I bought her from said they needed mostly fruits and veggies. I bought beef & veggie canned dog food like the lady said, some meal worms (as that’s whet most people feed them), fake crab the lady said they liked, and we still have plenty of fruits and veggies to feed her. She turned her nose up at the apple, and doesn’t seem to like steamed carrots much, and will only eat a couple bites of dog food, but she LOVES meal worms. She’s only the size of a quarter, and she ate 3 worms in one feeding, and probably would have eaten more but I didn’t want her to get sick so I didn’t give her any more. Lol it’s so cute. She’s so clumsy I have to hold her in my hand and put the worm in front of her for her to get it. I did trick her into eating some mashed steamed carrot by putting it on top of the worm. What is the ideal baby eastern box turtle diet? Also, how often can I handle her, and is she smart enough to get in the water dish herself? I buried it in her bedding so she can see the water. Any extra tips are also appreciated!

Spike is my bearded dragons name. He is full of personallity. He hates carrots. I know iceberg lettuce can give him the runs. He loves it tho… Is there any fruits and/or veggies that would my picky eater might enjoy? Can some one please tell me what is best for a young dragon. Ofcourse Breakfast is 6 small crickets and a salad(mostly consists of iceberg lettuce, cantolope, shreaded broccoli stems toppped with a supper worm.) lunch is his salad mix. Dinner is 2 supper worms and 6 more crickets. He hates apples and carrots. I shake and bake his crickets around 3-5 times a week. Please tell me some of your dragons fav. So I can change up his meals. Thank You
