i have these red bites all over my body! i can’t stop itching. I got back a week ago. I live in Canada. My elbows, palms, back and thighs all have these bites. i just looked at my bed, and didn’t notice any “bed bugs” i’m not sure if these are just mosquito bites or flea bites or something. Everyday i find a new “bite”. Any thoughts as to what it is?

ps , i bought a “cortizone 10″ itch relief cream , and i’ve been using it for the past few days but it hasn’t helped at all.
pps its winter in canada, does anyone think it might have something to do with the weather change? & yes theres a patch of ‘bites’ on my shoulder blade

Question by Deomcrat: Minor Florida Palmetto roach infestation, all roaches are small, in kitchen, best plan of attack?
OK. I moved into a Florida room right off of A1A in St Augustine FLorida yesterday. I was in the house for ~6 hours when i went in the kitchen at night.. and saw “six” SMALL bugs, on the counter. “They did not look like Palmetto roaches at first” they looked “different” but i knew we had something in the house. My roommates told me that “if they leave the lights on they dont come out, but if you leave them off you will see them” and they “mostly stay in the kitchen” (this makes sense, food and water.)

Today i purchased Raid MAX Johnson & Johnson “Keeps killing for up to 6 months” and sprayed my room, its a small house its nice we have carpet, i live in the boiler room. I sprayed half the can on contact to about “8″ roaches, sprayed behind the stove, on counter, etc. The biggest roach i saw was maybe 1/2 to 3/4 an inch, these appear to be “baby” roaches? And it shriveled under the RiadMAX (Im practicing my aim, this stuff cost $ 6.67 a can im halfway through it already) and it was from that roach upside down that i recognized it as Palmetto (my roommates said they are “German roaches” but i asked why they were small, i thought the German roaches were huuuge. Im rather glad they are not.)

This morning i woke up because i felt something on my leg (yes i turne the lights off, im considering leaving them on. I sprayed a good 1/4 the can on the carpet entering, alng wall of, and in the ONE space the pipe goe sinto the wall.. it was tiny little roach the size of a ladybug. I snooshed it with a towel and kiled it.

I saw ONE in the drain in the sink, again, tiny..sprayed it killed it ran water.
One just landed on my arm, i shooed it away, it was on my arm then sleeve. Perhaps it flew somehow? idk……

Anyways, they all appear SMALL. So im not sure how good or bad that is.. They do appear to “stay in the kitchen” i am afraid to bomb the place, i will NOT use this toaster or stove because i saw them go into the places the pot goes on top of the stove (so they likely live in there, if i bomb they will go EVERYwhere that would not be good, right?) I have attempted to spray around wherever i can, am i going in the right direction?

How have my efforts to stem this “kitchen infestation of bugs?” It doesnt seem TOO too bad (if it was major im sure there would be huge nasty roaches in broad daylight, i have seem SMALL roaches a small number of them primarily when lights are off and i will now cleep with lights on.) Advice here?

Best answer:

Answer by William C
You are wasting your spray. Buy the one gallon pump container and spray the base boards. I will take a few days for the bugs to go away. From the roach capital of the world. Also, follow the directions on the container. It works.

Question by M E: I live in Florida, is it possible a centipede lives on top of my computer under printer where its warm?
I have a printer on top of my computer. Every time i lift it up, i see a small “Bug” OR a long, fast, oddly colored “bug” (?) RUN AWAY real fast, and it appears to go “into my computer.” I am in Jacksonville, Florida.

The one day, o got lucky. The little bug seemed to not be able to leave the srface of the computer, so i crushed it. its guts are still there. It WASNT a roach, but it was a brown color, and almost looked like a grasshopper.

How these things got in my rtoom, house, and now live ‘under the printer, which is always on and nice and warm and in/ON my computer,” i dont know.

I am ready to spray Roach killer on top of the computer (after im very scared and see this fast, weird color, long thing i guess “Centipede” run away all fast) and then a “Fogger” . but i have heard they ATTRACT bugs, these Foggers? Is there a best one, or whatever is at Kmart?

But they are NOT in my whole house there only seems to be one tha tlives THERE< and im kin dof weirded out not only at how it got there, but why it STAYS there, and how to kill it.

Please help? Thanks.

PS: I have no spiders or roaches. Only this THING!

Answer by stephenn1998
I am sure it is. I just got an E-mail this week with pictures of a snake in one persons computer and a mouse (the live furry kind) in someones printer. If you want to see then contact me via E-mail and I’ll send them to you

I know you must keep yourself dry in case of rain, etc. For cold weather I know to have wool socks, but not cotton underwear ? I have not seen nor heard anything about particular clothes but I guess 100% cotton tee and jeans or shorts is OK?

Also what about mosquito ? I would hate to spray / put bug repellent chemical all over my body and goes on hiking / camping without being able to take a bath.. say 3 days trip.

I was wondering if are there any expert on hiking especially in south eastern region both in summer and winter season ?

Every time I drive home from my friend’s house I take highway 417 to get home. And for months and months I’ve passed these 4 towers which have red lights on top of them (Im usually on 417 around 1 or 2 am going home so yea)

Anyways its been really bugging me as to where exactly those towers are and what exactly those four towers are used for. Does anybody know?

If you take highway 417 at night you can see them on the left side of the highway (if you’re traveling southbound) due south from the toll plaza between Landstar Boulevard and Boggy Creek Road.

Does Anybody know?
