Question by : I Don’t Like People Asking Me Where I Work and Live, How Can I Keep Them Out of My Business?
I like to go out, bowling, events, etc, any public place and I am involved in a lot of things, volunteering, community events. No matter where I go people always seem to ask that right off the bat. What’s it’s any of these people’s business how I earn my money or where I live, that’s not even safe because I don’t know these people. I don’t care if you are Miss Perfect or Mother Theresa, if I don’t know you personally, you don’t need that much information about me.

Some of them ask and then never speak to me again, as if their only goal was to get in my business. Besides something like F-off*** What would you say in response to someone who was getting in your business and you were not interested in their question???

50% of the people I meet are nosy and 80% of those in that group go overboard, such as what I usually get is on where I live is: “I didn’t ask you the area, I asked you the town, by what store, what are the nearest cross streets to your house” some even want me to tell them how many houses down from the cross section. Usually it’s women who ask this, but in some cases men. I couldn’t make this up, I didn’t even know people were this nosy or this ridiculous

I am sure if I asked them what their religion was they would think that was odd, but yet they think they can get personal with other people. If you think it’s general conversation, I don’t, I think sports, national events and the weather, etc. are general conversation. Personal and general aren’t synonyms, so I don’t think personal questions make general conversation
Berny, you sound silly, stuck up? You are the one who is stuck up “WHO they are dealing with and WHAT they do for a living. First off, where you live and work is not WHO you are, it’s WHAT you are, and when elitist pigs like you learn to understand that people are more than just labels and neighborhoods, then maybe you can get beyond the name stage, you don’t deserve to know peoples names and they should steer clear from you.

Best answer:

Answer by .
tell them you dont want them knowing its that simple its not rude to say so its rude to ask though i feel where your coming from and if they ask about family or something say you dont know all the details. people need to stop prying.

His parents have a HUGE attic (the size of their first floor) that is filled with so much stuff, that she had created “walking paths” to get to some of the things. She still has my husband’s twin MATTRESS up there in her attic, and my husband is 38-years-old!!!

My husband was a hoarder when we first married 7 years ago until our house became infested with carpet beetles (beetles that love filth!). I started tossing his “stuff” and it took 2 full YEARS to get through all of his garbage. I have finally showed him how nice a clean, uncluttered home and garage can look. He is very good at tossing the “junk” away now as it comes in, but I am terrified that when his mom passes on, that he is going to come home with half of her stuff!

She said that she is going to start to get rid of one thing a day, but she continues to bring in 3 things per day! She picks up things off the streets and gives them to our children like dirty hair clips, gloves, and even saves the tiny umbrellas from drinks given at Senior parties!!! There bathroom smells like urine (I can’t even use their bathroom because I can’t stand the smell!) and their house has a very strong odor coming out the windows and they don’t have any pets. I am a clean and organized person who can’t stand a cluttered home.

What is going to happen with all of that “junk” when his parents die?!
@Billy- His parents are in their 80s!

We have been here 11 months and a couple months after we moved in we discovered carpet beetles and then got terminix service and thought they were gone and now about 3 weeks ago we noticed the larvae of the beetles but no live beetles. Terminix has been coming to spray alot and I think they are getting better but this time I am dealing with the maanger of terminix and he is getting the job done and he went into the attic and looked in the fireplace cause they can breed there and I have noticed the larvae in the fireplace and around it and coming in through the crevices on the counters in the kitchen which is directly behind the fireplace. From what he could see he seen dead wasps and spider webs and such in the fireplace and recommended that it be swept. So I contacted the rental company and they contacted the owner and they said they did not have any bug problems and said they would not pay for it. Isn’t it a fire hazard if we use our fireplace? I really think they should pay for the upkeep of it. Please let me know if I am wrong.

i started seeing them about a month ago, only one or two at a time. and either dead or near death. i found a couple dead ones in the pantry a few days ago and now im finding them dieing on my kitchen counter. today i went to grab a bowl from the cupboard and found a couple dieing. i took all the bowls out to look and found 6-10 alive. not really scurrying away. just moving around. they are only a few mm big. very tiny and havent seen any of them bigger than that. i was paranoid they might be baby roaches but my boyfriend keeps reassuring me they are not. and by the research ive done and some of the posts on here, im a lil more at ease on the roach idea. but what are they? ive seen other peoples questions and did the research… they are not springtails, fruit flies, termites, carpet beetles or immature lady bugs. what i have found is they resemble strongly a flour beetle or other pantry pests.

heres a link i found that looks pretty accurate to what im seeing.

http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/images/confused_flour_beetle.jpg

i planned on cleaning out the cupboards and everything and bombing the house, which im doing regardless because even though we dont have pets, the area we live in is horrible for fleas and we seem to bring a couple in on our shoes, that and theres stray cats that hang around on the porch sometimes. but anyways, back to the main point here…. can someone help me? anyone know what they are? will bombing help with these too? and on a side note (as if it couldnt get any better ) i finally figured out that another bug ive been seeing (on a much rarer basis) is a larder beetle.

so… what is the tiny “roach-like” bug and will bombing help get rid of them and the larder beetles????
any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

I have a 2002 Mustang convertible. Last July I parked in a parking garage for two days and ended up with a major ant infestation. It took months to get rid of them through a combination of ant baits and spraying bug and tar remover around the engine compartment. It was a nightmare.

I now seem to have gnats living somewhere near the drivers side window (possibly inside it?). What’s going on here?! I do NOT eat or drink in the car and try not to park under trees or in grass if possible. I always keep it super clean inside and out. I do live in Florida though so there are bugs everywhere. Could the fact that the car’s a convertible have something to do with bugs liking to live in it? The windows and top line up pretty evenly and there don’t seem to be any gaps.

My display name is now Paranite. ***IMPORTANT NOTE If you haven’t actually heard Remember The Name by Fort Minor (preferably the uncensored version, lol) yet, I strongly recommend you do so before watching this video!! Half the hilarity comes from knowing how blatantly I ripped off it Okay now, for those of you ignoramuses out there, “whoring” basically means grinding–it’s when you spend a LOT of time only doing one thing because you are dedicated to it (basically it’s a derogatory term for dedication, lolz) like I did strength. Lyrics: [Intro - Fort Minor, ACher91] [Chorus] This 10% luck, 20% time, 15% concentrated power of mind 5% pleasure, 50% boring, and 100% reason to just keep on whoring. ACher! He doesn’t need his name on Rogue Scores He just wants to hit hard whether it’s the whip or the sword. He feels so unlike everybody else, stronger, in spite of the fact that some people still think that they’re better, but fuck ‘em! He’s got the stats– it’s not about the summoning, or hunter, or construction, it’s all about agility and gettin’ exp, doing clan wars, making sure his clan stays up; That means when he puts it down, Ab’s pickin’ it up! Let’s go! Who the hell is he anyway? He never bounty hunts much, never kills anyone, that’s why he just gave up. Humbled through many epic failures and killed despite the fact he has 99 str. What the fuck was up with all that? Trained it all himself, now his guy is all buffed. Never asked for someone’s help, or to get some …

…away from the house?
Here in NW Florida, we have huge bugs that all want to come into the house…YUK…
We’ve been having an exterminator come every 3 months…and they spray poison around the peremeter of each room, as well as around the outside of the foundation.

It concers me that the cats can walk in the dried poison spray…and then groom themselves. The exterminator swears that the spray is harmless to people and pets…but, I wonder..

I’d love to go ‘chemical free’ and still not be invaded by these ugly ‘Palmetto bugs’ (a pretty name for huge roaches)…and the Riddex commercial looks like it COULD be a solution….has anyone had any results, either good or bad, using this product?
