I was sitting outside talking on the phone just now to my friend and we where talking about how his grandpa is going to pull all his stocks because they’re starting to crash, right then a white bat flew directly toward me and over my house. It’s 1 in the morning. The bat was fucking huge had like a foot and a half wing span. I know some people don’t care and I’m normally not superstitious but this kind of freaked the hell out of me.

Question by : Do you know the title to this older Sci-Fi film?
The movie’s plot was based on a man who was walking in his yard (I believe he and his family just bought the house) and he stumbled upon two new species of scorpions. One of the species was red colored while the other was white faced, and if I recall correctly, they were actually not from Earth. The man gathers some and creates a sand terrarium for them in his basement and begins to study their habits. He notices that they never work together, and each made a civilization of its own species (they looked like termite hills) on opposite sides of the terrarium. The man tried to domesticate them and when he gets stung/bitten by one, he decides to not feed them and ignore them. The scorpions then finally had a common enemy and worked together to escape the terrarium and attack the man. All the while the wife was completely against the man touching them let alone approving his eventual obsession with them. I do believe that it wasn’t until the family dog got eaten by the scorpions that the man finally ignored the scorpions and wanted to starve them to death. That’s about all I can recall of the movie with the exception of the ending showing that the man thought he killed them all but in the woods in his backyard the camera zooms into two giant “termite” nests that are supposed to the insinuation that they are not all gone – you know, the typical Sci-Fi ending. I don’t know anything more than that informaiton – no year, no title, no actors. All I know is that I saw it once on TV when I was a young girl, and I’m 25 now so it cannot be too old. It was in 90′s style color, so it’s definitely not a technicolor-aged film.

It was a Sci-Fi channel series where they made new stories called “The New Outer Limits”. Star was Beau Bridges and Title was “Sandkings” . It was one episode only and I really liked it too.

Every time i turn my light off to sleep i see like quick white lines flying in my room… I keep a night light on. I just turned my light off a minute ago but this time i saw a lot more of these white lines… :/ what is this… Kinda worried ive seen these for quite a while now

How do I know if I have bed bugs?

Okay last week was spring break and my brother went to Florida and stayed in some hotel. I stayed home with my parents. On the same day my brother came back from Florida, the back of my ear itched really bad and it welted up and everything and I had two tiny bites on my neck. Later that day my mom was itching everywhere and she had to take Benadryl for it. My dad said maybe my brother brought home bed bugs from the hotel he stayed at in Florida, but my brother said he hasn’t been itching or seen any bugs or anything.
So I kind of forgot about it and now I’m back at college in my dorm. I didn’t get any bites last night but tonight I laid down around midnight and maybe half an hour later my stomach was itching. I got up and turned the light on and there was like 6 little tiny bumps, and one slightly larger bump. These are pretty much gone now (4 hours later). I didn’t see anything on my bed. I checked my mattress (or what i could, it’s very heavy and i had to be quiet b/c it was 2 AM and my suitemate was sleeping), and I didn’t see anything. I have a mattress protector on there that’s been on since I moved in. But I eat in bed a lot (i do brush the crumbs off) and don’t wash the sheets regularly. Since I’ve been sitting in this chair all night I’ve gotten several other bites too, but none of them itch anymore and none of them are in a row, they’re just single bites/bumps. I feel like I would have seen one by now though. Could I have bed bugs? I need to know how to find out because I can’t sleep at all. I can’t relax. It’s almost 5 AM now and I haven’t been to sleep and don’t plan on going to sleep. I’m going back home this weekend and I certainly don’t wanna bring any bugs with me..how can i find out if it’s bed bugs?
