I just feel like it’s being overused and it’s starting to be not as special as it used to be. Not as exciting, you know? Before, when Naruto ended up in a fatal situation, it was like *BAM*… but now it’s almost (not quite, but getting there) getting old. I’m not bashing shippuden, I absoloutly love it. I’m just wondering if anyone feels the same. Everytime he revs up, he has the sharp fangs and the red eyes.

I’m hoping to develop my own breed, though until I start seeing the traits I want the transitional generations are primarily going to be feeders I imagine – though I’ll certainly sell them as pets to anyone who would want one. I just don’t think there’s that big of a demand.

The white lab mice are cheapest & fairly docile, but I’m contemplating other strains that might be breedable with it in order to “mix it up” genetically to see what traits can be coaxed out of the gene pool. The ideal traits I’m looking to produce are small size, golden/blond fur and as close to “troll hair” on the top of its head as I can get (“troll” referring to those little dolls with the fuzzy hair that were popular in the 80′s – the kind you could buy for the top of your pencil so when you spun it around, it went everywhere. Know the ones I mean?)

The reason I’m hoping to develop this strain is because when my nephew was born, he had what I called “troll hair”, and it’s a family thing sort of – I’d like to have the strain as close to fully developed as possible by the time he graduates high school (he’s in 4th grade now, so I think there may be time).

Any and all advice appreciated! And if you have any more humane method of population control (i.e., getting rid of the excess mice that people don’t want to buy as pets before they’re ready to breed without having to sell them as feeders), I’d also be delighted to entertain the notion.
Re: Population control: I’m aware that I can just separate the ones I don’t want to have breeding and keep them separated by gender. But the population is still likely to build up pretty quickly from even just the few that I -will- select to breed. So I don’t think that is going to be a very practical option. If I sell them to pet stores, they’ll mostly go out as feeders anyway, and quite possibly they will be sold as live food. I’d prefer to sell them as pre-killed feeders if I have to sell them for feeders at all. I could euthanize them much more humanely than Johnny Snake-Owner is likely to. :-#

Question by Flip’s Girl: Cat with skin mites, lice or fleas? What are they?
A stray kitten showed up at my door, she has been outside all of her life. I plan on adopting her as a housecat. She is still somewhat fearful of people, I can gently pet her for a minute then she gets a little skiddish- it’s just taking some time to build up some trust.
I haven’t taken her to the vet yet, but soon as I get some cash I am going to get her checked for worms, get rabies shots, etc, but in the mean time, I noticed some small bugs on her fur next to her skins, they don’t look like the typical fleas, these little bugs are tiny, shaped like a tick or a flea, but are like a pale tan color. I am not sure if they are lice or some type of mite. There are tiny white dots on the end of her fur that she sheds, almost like these would be eggs or nits or something. I’ve seen fleas before but these don’t look like that, but I’ve never seen lice or mites before and wondering what these “bugs” are and what can be done over the counter until I can take her to the vet.

Well, cat’s fur has a white root. Fleas are black, and cat blood isn’t suitable for lice bugs. Good luck with kitty!

The problem is I don’t want to teach them not to bark AT ALL, which sorta leaves out the anti-barking collars.

What is a good way to teach them to bark when someone approaches the house, but not at every car/person who walks by the backyard or street? And to bark a few times then stop.

Also how difficult do you think it will be to teach an “old dog new ticks”? Our one dog is almost 9 years old, and our other is still a pup about 7 mo. old.

We tell them no when we are home, but they don’t seem to be getting the point. And what to do when we are not home? Sometimes (not always) we are gone to long (10-12 hrs) to lock them inside the whole day (And they still bark, just not as much indoors).
It was not as bad before our new neighbors, who have 4 kids. So our puppy constantly barks at them through the fence. This is why the barking was “brought to our attention”.
Dragon: Your idea sounds great! I only have one problem, what do we do when we are not home to tell them to stop barking?

You need to discourage them from barking at inappropriate things, like cars and the neighbors. That way they learn their manners. I’m sure they would still alert you if someone tried to break in.

Definitely yes, but im Pretty sure they are not driven by little green men ! Sorry to burst all thous alien dedicated fans but the fact of the matter is military and governments have been making top secret air crafts since the second world war !
Heres an example , the germans , natzis if you will, had the technology to make these strange and brilliant craft back in the 1940′s , as many of you mite have allready heard of the “fly trap” google it ! Its a known fact that they had engineerd anti gravity machines.
The first reports of UFOs was by pilots in the second world war they called them “foo fighters” not the band !
The fact of the matter is , space is so vastly huge , its minde boggalin and our poor tiny brains cant understand how big it realy is ! Example it would take a space craft 40,000 years to reach the nearest star system traveling at the speed of light. So if ET is visiting our plannet on a regular basis he is going to need some high tech equiptment , am i right ? Well how about a worm hole ? sounds amazing right ? but that could be posible provideing you have some kinde of machine able to tear a hole in space , hmm like a hugely massive object , stars and big planets curv space so it will have to be heavyer than them maybe ?
So evan if ET choose the rite planet out of billions over a hugely massive universe , and travels millions of light years to get here just to make a brief appearance then zoom off sounds a bit odd?
Just think of all thous star wars films , if a civilisation is so advanced you would think that planet hoping would be like getting in your car and going to the shops rite ? well if this is truley the case why has no one bothered to come to our planet ? makes you think dosent it !

I have seen many mid centuries paintings , christian paintings with some “holy” figures . Several of them have had somewhere in corner small UFO image .
I am sure it was UFO image .
Do some research on line , you may be surprised .
