Question by Reila: What type of bug is this?
My boyfriend keeps complaining how he keeps getting bitten by a bug, well last night he caught one and he said that it was small, kind of like a lady bug except that it’s got a brown back with white spots and the belly is greyish. He said that his mom said it was a “Dirt Bug” but he said that’s what they call it in Mongolian, So i looked it up and that’s obviously not what it’s called in English. Also, the bites on his leg are pretty nasty bites. They’re big and red and he says they are VERY itchy.

Sorry if the information is too vague. I don’t know what else about the bug other than that and i can’t seems to figure out what it is.

He says it’s not ticks, fleas, or bed bugs.

Anybody know?

Well it seems to be bed bugs even though he says their not I think they are if their flat like and are black and brown then they may be bed bugs their are differnt types of bed bugs and do not look the same I found out the best way to kill these pests was so use a steam iron and some d/earth powder. It does a great job on killing bed bugs… oh and something extra put clothes in a plastic bag or clean with hot water bed bugs seem to hide a couple feet from their host (were they get their food[blood]I hope this helps)

Should I get this apple laptop for 1300? Is there a pc laptop w/ the same performance I can get a lot cheaper?

apple get’s no viruses, worms, trojans, etc.
i hear that it runs more smoothly but i’m not sure about that.
t’s more secure is a HUGE PLUS but if the PC LAPTOP that can MATCHUP with this laptop performance WISE for A LOT LOWER than then I MIGHT consider pc laptop but if it is just a LITTLE LOWER than i’m going to take the MAC!!!
I need this for MUSIC EDITING, mixing, etc. I would also like to play games on it but it doesn’t have to be the best w/ GAMES!!!
i seen pc laptops with 4gb ddr2 memory. Is that faster or slower than the 2gb ddr3???
well from what I heard it doesn’t get those problems.

I have lived here for a month. Within the first couple days I woke up in the middle of the night and stepped on a giant roach. I am from the north so at first I had no idea what it was except that it was beetle like with long ass antennas. Anywho, I researched it on the net and found out it was a roach. I told the manager about it and she almost choked. She was as disgusted as I was. Within the first week I had seen about 5 roaches. but the other 4 were much smaller and seemed to be only found in my bathroom. The large one was smack dab in the middle of my bedroom. I talked to the owner about it as well and he said to take care of it at his expense and told me to go to home depot to buy this stuff that he has been using in California on his rental properties there. (we are in Texas). So i did, it worked for awhile it seemed. The only roaches I would see were dead so I just cleaned them up and it was no big deal…now however, I am seein them everywhere!! my kitchen, my bathroom, and now in my 2 year old’s bedroom which is alarming as they carry up to 30 different disease and can cause asthma and respiratory issues in small children. I found the one in her room when we were playing on the floor. I am also starting to see them during the day…I have been told that that is because the infestation is out of control and they are kicking the lowest on the totem pole out of the walls. So I told my landlord I was going to call an exterminator today and asked if he already had one for the property. He said no but to call around and he would give them his CC number if need be. So I called 3 different places and got quotes. I sent them to him and then he said he called one of the places and said the roach I explained was common in this area and was extra bad this yr cuz of the drought. Then said he would only put forth 100 as a courtesy which wont even cover the 1st visit!! I was told the 30 day treatment wouldn’t work cuz of the intensity of the infestation and his 100 doesn’t even cover half of that.
What do I do?? Is this normal landlord practice in TX? I could see if the infestation happened after I moved in but it was clearly here before and there is no way I would have known until now. Therefore who is required to spend the money on it? I am really worried about my daughters health, can anyone help me??
Does this change from state to state? And how should I approach my landlord without being demanding?

I have 2 Lord of the Flies books:
- A white paperback one with a pig head on it with blood dripping down its face with 225 pages
- A green hardcover with a boy’s face on the front with grass in his hair, the back cover has a box with another head with grass, and there is a small yellow box with what the book is about, it has 190 pages.

I sprayed it with something ,it’s legs were not originally hanging down like in the Flickr picture. It’s legs were similar like the bug’s in this photo,http://images.flowers.vg/1024×768/potato-bug.jpg

I’ve seen a bug like this in my bed many years ago, but I just spotted one today, and I can’t tell if it’s a bed bug or not.

here’s the bug that i saw, it actually looked more like a “potato bug” (not sure if that’s the actual name). It’s legs were not hanging down,It looks like that because i killed it using perfume

I thought it was dead, but it just started crawling again =/

I can barely see the bug, the picture is tiny, but I think that’s just an ordinary beetle that got lost.

What is this bug I’ve been finding?

It’s very small, black, and has a fat round bottom. I thought it was ticks at first, but they squish really easily. It’s almost spider-looking, but crawls like a beetle and only had 6 legs that I could see. It’s kind of shiny, but when I held it up to the light it took on a reddish hue which very well could also have been blood inside it’s stomach. That’s why I was concerned since it made me think that maybe it fed on blood?

I’ve only seen around 10-15 in the last 5 months, (all on their own), but the last one I saw was on my comforter!

They don’t resemble bed bugs in the slightest, or carpet beetles by the way. Any ideas at all???
